HABITAT WHERE THE BIRD WAS OBSERVED
First seen in a shrub on the left side of the route and then the bird flew to a tree across the route.
SIGHTING DURATION, CONDITIONS, and EQUIPMENT USED
The bird was observed about 8 AM for less than a minute. The temperature was 60 degrees, sunny and no wind. When the bird was first seen, it was in a bush about 8 feet off the ground and I was about 20 feet away. I was able to get two photos of it before it flew to the tree across the road. It landed in the tree about 18 to 20 feet off the ground and I was about 25 feet from the tree. I was able to take three photos before it flew out of sight. I did not see it through the binoculars because I was taking photos. My camera is a Nikon D5000 with a 75-300mm lens.
