SEARCH RARE BIRD REPORTS
Database of Rare Bird Reports submitted to the IBRC
Rare Bird Reports have been submitted during three eras, each with a different system of storing the documents.
- Rare Bird Reports were originally mailed to the committee as physical documents. Scans of all existing documentation for records voted on prior to 2006 are presented as Supporting Images.
- Reports voted on from 2006 through early 2018 are stored in HTML archives organized according to the year they were voted on (View Index of the years). Pages for records from this era have links to the correct archive year, where you can find the details and documents for each record. Click on the archive link and then scroll down until you find links for the record you want to view.
- Reports are currently submitted to a database driven system that creates a page for each record when it is submitted. All documentation is recorded directly on the pages.
Search tips:
- Search through records by applying one or more filters.
- Search results can be narrowed further with additional filters.
